When you get that feeling of complete freedom, while the wind cools you in the warm sun. Even the occasional shower of rain won't stop you from enjoying it, and the connection with nature...priceless.

The gathering and the beginning of our two-wheeler adventure is in the city of Zajecar, host of Gitarijada, the oldest rock festival in Serbia (and Europe). The first leg of the journey, about 60 km long, leads us to the village of Rajac and the renowned Rajacke pimnice. Pimnice is, in fact, a settlement made for the production and storage of wine. Of course, we will taste some wine from the local producers...but not too much, because the journey is just startinhg ;) After this, Dionysus' experience, we continue our journey through eastern Serbia all the way to Blederija waterfall, hidden in a peaceful oasis.
Our next stop is the bank of the Danube and Kladovo.
If you haven't worked up an appetite so far, after a walk through Kladovo and the Fetislam fortress, you certainly will, so we will head to Tekija for lunch and a slightly longer, well-deserved break. After the rest, we move onto the Danube itself, where a cruise through the Djerdap gorge awaits us, a tour of Trajan's tablet, the Great and Little Cauldron...
We end the adventure in Donji Milanovac and the rest of the evening is free.
Route length: about 250km

The second day begins with a gathering and a shared breakfast. The road first leads us to Majdanpek and Rajkova cave, which is located a few kilometers from the city. The legend that the hajduk Rajko hid his looted treasure there is also connected to the cave...but the treasure has never been found.
After visiting the cave, we will head to Golubac and the famous Golubac Fortress, which was first mentioned in writings in 1335, but was founded before that. Who built it and when exactly still remains a mystery. After visiting the fortress, we will have a lunch break at the restaurant and gather the energy during lunch to continue the journey.
The banks of the Danube in eastern Serbia hide many secrets. One of them is Lepenski Vir. Lepenski Vir represents the remains of the oldest settlement in Europe from the Neolithic Era. The first organized human settlement in the open air was located in Djerdap and was founded eight thousand years ago. An interesting museum display will bring you closer to what the settlement looked like and how the people of that time lived.
We end the interesting day where we started, Zajecar, with a joint dinner.
Trail length: about 267km
